Abstract
Widyastuti, 15 PSC01699, 2017: “The Influence of Media Learning, Teachers’ Competence, Parental Attention, and Students’ Motivation on Listening Farce of Javanese Language Achievement for grade IX Students of SMPN 1 Kertek Wonosobo in the Academic Year of 2016/2017.” Thesis. This study aims to describe the contribution of: 1) Media learning on listening farce of Javanese language achievement in class IX students of SMPN 1 Kertek Wonosobo in the Academic Year of 2016/2017. 2)Teachers‟ competence on listening farce of Javanese language achievement in class IX students of SMPN 1 Kertek Wonosobo in the Academic Year of 2016/2017. 3) Parental attention on listening farce of Javanese language achievement in class IX students of SMPN 1 Kertek Wonosobo in the Academic Year of 2016/2017. 4) Students‟ motivation on listening farce of Javanese language achievement in class IX students of SMPN 1 Kertek Wonosobo in the Academic Year of 2016/2017. 5) The simultaneous contributions among media learning, teachers‟ competence, parental attention, and students‟ motivation on listening farce of Javanese language achievement in class IX students of SMPN 1 Kertek Wonosobo in the Academic Year of 2016/2017 The research design was descriptive quantitative method and was conducted at SMPN 1 Kertek, Wonosobo Regency. The population comprised ninth grade students in the first term of academic year 2016/2017. The sample involved 50 students taken from Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instrument for data collecting included listening farce of Javanese language achievement test and questionnaires. The questionnaires dealt with media learning, teachers‟ competence, parental attention, and student motivation. Validity test of questionnaire used the Product Moment and reliability used Cronbach's Alpha. Test Normality used Kolmogorov Sminorv and the results of the data were normal entirely. In testing the Linearity, regression techniques was used and it showed the whole linear data. Test Multicollinearity used regression techniques to find out the value of Tolerance and Variance Inflation Factor (VIF) resulting there were no multicollinearities. The result of the research shows that: (1) The contributions of learning media (X1) on learning achievement (Y) is 58.7%, and there is a significant influence between learning media by achievement of student learning. (2) The contributions of teachers‟ competence (X2) on learning achievement (Y) is 73.3%, and there is a significant influence between the teachers‟ competence with the achievement of student learning. (3) The contributions of parental attention (X3) on learning achievement (Y) is 54.7%, but there is no significant influence between parental attention on the learning achievement. (4) The contributions of student motivation (X4) on learning achievement (Y) is 57.9% and there is a significant influence between student motivation on learning achievement. (5) The simultaneous contributions among media learning (X1), teachers‟ competence (X2) parental attention (X3), and motivation (X4) on learning achievement (Y) are 84.1%. xvii Based on those findings, media learning, teachers‟ competence, parental attention and learning motivation consider to have a significant influence on student achievement
