Abstract
Runipah 2017 The Learning of Java Language Teks Reading Skill ( A case stady at class VIII E of SMP Negeri 2 Selomerto first semester, academic years 2016/2017): Language Education Study Program, Postgraduate Program of Widya Dharma Klaten University In this research the formulated problem are 1) Haw is and leasning of Java language text reading skill? 2) What are the problems in teaching and learning of Java language text reading skill? In this research the teories used an the theory of teching and learning, motivation in teaching and learning, the theory of reading the using of theaching and learning media the skill of teaching and learning and evaluation. The kind of research is case study whith take palce if uses steps obseeve, analyze, and concluded. The result of research can be follows a) The teaching and learning activity done by the teacher directs to the core of material without doing appception, giving motivation,and dilivenny the aim, as well as comprehending the material. b) The student didnt knaw the meaning of the vocabularies only same of them ar active. c) The matrials presented are not in detail. d) The methods of lecture and giving ascigment are not maximal. e) The media used is only one legend. Based on the result of analysis above it can be concluded that the teacher not susceed in doing activity of teachung and learning of read the legend it is because Firsly there are still many activities of teching an learning which taks role increase the learning achivement or not done, namely doing apperception the giving motivation of teaching and learning. Secondly the student only listen to what the teacher say. Thridly, the learning material presented is very shallow. Forthty the method used is less maximaland the media used is very limited only one story. The causes of such teaching and learning are. Firstly the teacher less preparation on material comprehension of teaching and learning of read SQ3R Secondly the student less motivation of following teaching an learning activity. Thirdly lock of reading material about the legend of Wonosobo, so that the teacher using other regions. Fourthly the media less suport in learning.
