Abstract

JONI, NIM: 1312104541. Geography Education Studies Program, Department of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Education, University of Widya Dharma Klaten, Thesis: "IDENTIFICATION OF LANDSLIDE DISASTER AREAS PRONE SELO DISTRICT, DISTRICT BOYOLALI 2017". This study aims to: 1) Know the level of landslide vulnerability in Selo Subdistrict. 2) To know the spread of landslide location of Selo Subdistrict and to make map of potential prone to landslide disaster. The data in this study include topography, soil type, climate, geology, population, mitigation effort, vegetation, hydrology, land management. Indicators used in this research are slope slope, soil condition, rainfall, slope constellation rock, population density, mitigation effort, vegetation type, slope water system, cropping pattern, excavation and slope cutting, pond molding, slope drainage and construction development. Data collection methods in this study are direct observation and field measurement, documentation, and interpretation of satellite imagery. Data analysis method is by approaching method according to parameters of PMPU No.22 / PRT / M / 2007, overlay method with GIS, and description analysis. The conclusions can be drawn from this research are: 1) The landslide vulnerability level of Selo Subdistrict is divided into 3 zones with avalanche potential ie Zone A with the area of 337.17 Ha or 5% of the total sub-district, Zone B with an area of 1127.99 Ha or 17% of the total area of the district, and Zone C with 4992.36 Ha or 77% of the total area of the district. Based on the scoring results, the rate of prone to landslides. In Zone A is Medium with an area of 337.17 Ha or 5%. Zone B landslide vulnerability is divided into low landslide prone areas with an area of 1010.24 Ha or 16% and moderate landslide prone rate with an area of 117.75 ha or 2%. Zone vulnerability zone C is divided into low landslide prone areas with an area of 2116.90 Ha or 33% and moderate landslide prone rate with an area of 2875.46 Ha or 45%. 2) Distribution of landslide vulnerability levels in Zone A includes Tlogolele Village, Jrakah Village, Samiran Village, Selo Village and Jeruk Village. Distribution of moderate and low landscape vulnerability Zone B covers Tlogolele Village, Klakah Village, Jrakah Village, Samiran Village, Selo Village and Jeruk Village. While the low level of vulnerability Zone C covers the whole village in Kecamatan Selo. The most widespread avalanche of Zone A is the village of Jrakah, Zone B with the most widespread vulnerability is the Jrakah Village whereas for the lowest level of vulnerability the most extensive is Tlogolele Village, Zone C with Medium and Low level of vulnerability is Tlogolele Village. Suggestions put forward are On the settlement of the steep population needs to be planted with hard plants to strengthen the slope, especially on slopes with a slope of> 20%, Slope cutting needs to be considered, especially in residential areas and roads need to be made engineering techniques to strengthen slopes such as made foundation, For farmers instead of land to agricultural land should not be done in Zonasi A, it is better to open agricultural land in zones B and C, For the government along the Boyolali-Magelang road at any point known to have landslides it is necessary to strengthen the slope as foundation and study is required further for the determination of spatial use in the research area according to the degree of landslide vulnerability in the study area.
