Abstract
BEAUTYWULANDARI, NIM: 1312104535. Geography Education Studies Program, Department of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Education, University of Widya Dharma Klaten, Thesis: STUDY ANALYSIS OF GEOGRAPHICAL FACTORS SUPPORTING THE PRESENCE OF INDUSTRY SOUN NOODLE MANJUNG VILLAGE, NGAWEN DISTRICT, DISTRICT KLATEN 2017 This study aims to: (1) Determine the geographical factors in Manjung village. (2) Determine the geographical factors that support the existence of soun noodle industry in Manjung village. The method used in this research is qualitative method,survey was executed in this research and respondents drawn were noodle industry players.. The number of respondents was 52, as a "population". The analytical method used is descriptive and data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that there are some geographic factors supporting the existence of soun noodle industry in Manjung village. They are consisting of physical factors of industrial location, raw materials, climate, and water. While the non-physical factors consist of capital, labor, accessibility, technology and marketing. Most geographical factors support the existence of soun noodle industry is climatic factors (rainfall) which directly related to production in the study area. Besides the climate, raw materials also affect the quality of the production of glass noodles noodles in Manjung village. Basically all these geographical factors support the existence of soun noodle industry in Manjung village. The conclusion of this study were (1) geographic factors affecting the availability of soun noodle industry. (2) geographic factors that most influence on the existence of soun noodle industry is the climate factors (rainfall) and raw materials factors.
