Abstract

DRAMA WRITING SKILLS INCRASE USE OF JIGSAW COOPERATIF (Class Action Research in class IXA SMP Negeri 2 Paranggupito District Paranggupito, Wonogiri, in the 2015/2016 academic year). Thesis. Master of Language Education, Graduate Widyadharma University Klaten, 2016. This study aims to: 1) Describe the process of implementation of a Class Action Research in teaching drama writing class IXA students of SMP Negeri 2 Paranggupito after applying the type cooperative approach jigsaw; 2) Describe the increased activity of students of class IXA SMP Negeri 2 Paranggupito in the following study drama writing by applying the type cooperative approach jigsaw; and 3) Know the upgrading of drama writing by applying the type cooperative approach jigsaw in class IX SMP Negeri 2 Paranggupito. This research is a class action (PTK) is a form of research that is a reflection of the action by the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle of study subjects in classes IX SMPN 2 Paranggupito Paranggupito Wonogiri District 30 students. The study was conducted in the second half of the academic year 2015/2016. The research was conducted in the form of a gradual process of assessment consists of four stages in each cycle, namely: 1) planning or planning; 2) take any action or acting; 3) observing or observation; and (4) reflection or reflecting. The results of the analysis of data obtained: 1) The students of the learning process playwriting through cooperative learning jigsaw showed a more positive view of comparative observation cycle, second cycle and third cycle; and 2) the ability of playwriting through cooperative learning jigsaw seen an increase. In the first cycle of the average student's ability to write plays for 63.65 then increased in the second cycle of 70.22 and in the third cycle increased to 81.41. Thus it can be concluded that: 1) There is an increasing activity in teaching playwriting through cooperative jigsaw graders IXA SMP 2 Paranggupito; and 2) an increase in students' skills in writing scripts through cooperative jigsaw graders IXA SMP Negeri 2 Paranggupito.
