Abstract
SUWARNO, NIM: 14PSC01672 The Teaching And Learning 0f direction Doing Something (A Case-Studies on the Four Year Student of Public Secondary School 2 Trisari, Gubug, Grobogan Odd Semester, School Year 0f 2015/2016 ) Thesis Language Education Study Program, Master Programme Widya Dharma University Klaten 2016 The study focused on observasing the teaching of writing direction doing something. The problems of the study are 1) Conducting an intense observation of the teaching and learning process of writing direction doing something, applied for four year students of Public Secondary School 2 Trisari, Gubug, Grobogan, Odd Semester, Academic Year of 2015/2016. 2) Finding the influencing factors of why the above teaching and learning activity is done in such a ways. The related theoretical used are about the nature of teaching and learning, teacher’s role in learning activity, the nature of writing, lesson plan, teaching strate gy, theaching method, motivation, learning media and evaluation. The research is done in Public Secondary School 2, Trisari, Gubug, Grobogan. This is a descriptive, yet, qualitative study study which uses a case-study as the approach.The data-sources are the teaching and learning activities of writing direction doing something, applied for the fourth year students of Public Secondary School 2, Trisari, Gubug, Grobogan, Odd Semester, School Year of 2015/2016. The statement of Data-Identity is made based on the observation-result in the form of recorded video shooting. This recording is then to be textualized in multi-column, which counsist of networking-tracks (tajering). One networking-track has one theme. Using these steps, The statement of data-unit can be arranged. This study uses 47 statements of data-unit. Those statements of data-unit are then to be studied and analyzed. The discussion lays on the aspects of the teacher, students, learning material, teaching method, and evaluation. The result of this study concludes that : a)During the teaching and learning process of writing direction doing something; applied for the fourth year semester students of Public Secondary School 2, Trisari, Gubug, Grobogan, Odd Semester, School Year of 2015/2016; the teacher does the apperception. b)The teacher explains the learning material. c) The teacher guides the task in group. d) The teacher uses some medications and written clues as learning media. e) The teacher conducts the evaluation. f) The teacher gives the enrichment program or additional teaching sessionfor maximum absorpption toward the given material. g) The observed students are lack of writing (habitual) activity. With the whole analysis as its base, this study gives the influencing factors of those finding as follow: a) The teacher gives the apperception to know students preliminary knowledge on writing. b) The teacher explains the material so that students get clear description on it, c) The teacher guides the group-work to motivate all students about the subject of learning. d) The teacher uses some medicationsplus its written direction as learning media to give students real examples of the given lesson. e) The teacher gives the evalution to measure the completion of the lesson and fulfill its teaching goals. f) The teacher deepen program to provide students a deeper understanding upon the given material. g) Studens are lack of (habitual) writing activity because the task is given in group.
