Abstract

DEA AYU PUTRI, 2111200015, English Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Widya Dharma Klaten in 2025. The Implementation of Picture and Picture Learning Model Assisted by Cue Card Media for Teaching Writing of The Eleventh Year Students of SMAN 1 Jatinom in Academic 2024/2025. This study aims to describe the implementation of Picture and Picture learning model assisted by cue card media in learning writing for class XI students of SMAN 1 Jatinom in the 2024/2025 academic year. In addition, this study also identifies the obstacles faced by teachers in the implementation process as well as the solutions used to overcome these obstacles. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of Picture and Picture learning model with the help of cue cards effectively increased students' participation and understanding in writing comparison sentences. Students become more active, enthusiastic, and able to build appropriate sentences based on the pictures and clues provided. The average score of students reached 90.7, exceeding the Minimum Passing Grade (KKM), although there were some students who still had scores below the standard. The main obstacles found were limited vocabulary and understanding of tenses. Solutions implemented by the teacher included motivating students to use the dictionary and providing additional instructions during learning activities.Thus, the Picture and Picture model assisted by cue cards proved to be an innovative, interactive, and fun strategy in improving students' writing skills.
