Abstract
This study aims to (1) find the reasons why it is necessary to strengthen the character of honesty and hard work by implementing the 1st and 5th precepts of Pancasila through contextual-based learning, (2) knowing how to strengthen the character of honesty and hard work by implementing the fifth precepts. -1 and 5 Pancasila through contextual-based learning. This research uses a qualitative paradigm. The research method uses descriptive. Data collection techniques by interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used interactive analysis. The results of the study (1) the reasons why it is necessary to strengthen the character of honesty and hard work are due to the occurrence of low degrees and behavioral deviations and (2) strengthening the character of honesty and hard work is carried out by implementing the 1st and 5th precepts of Pancasila through learning-based learning. contextual.
