Abstract
Triana Kanthi Wati, 13PSC01576, 2015, Improve Student Activities and Reading Achievement Discourse Lettered Java Using Cooperative Model Type Make A Match Class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sapuran, Wonosobo Semester II, Academic Year 2014/2015, Thesis: Graduate University of Widya Dharma Klaten Mastering Java script is very important for students, as mandated in 2013 local content curriculum structure of the Java language, so that it could be the identity and the characteristic of the area. The background of this research is, the achievement of reading Java script material of the 24 students of class X MIPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Sapuran, Wonosobo, second semester 2014/2015 academic year are still not as expected. It was found that only 42% of students who passed the passing grade/KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) 70. While the target of completeness should be achieved is 75%. Because of that reason, it is needed to hold an improvement in the learning process to improve activity and the reading achievement of discourse Java script among the students by doing this research, to answer the problem formulation is whether the type of cooperative models make a match can increase the activity of learning and achievement reading achievement Java script class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sapuran Wonosobo in the second semester academic year 2014/2015. The research objective was to student activity in applying of cooperative models make a match and to know whether make a match model can improve reading achievement of Java script class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sapuran Wonosobo. This study uses a Classroom Action Research. It is conducted in two cycles, the first cycle and the second cycle. Each consists of 3 meetings. Cycle I was held on March 30, 6, and 13 April 2015, while the second cycle executed on April 27, 4, and May 11 2015. The results after the first cycle of learning implemented improvement percentage of student activity 59,50 % to the category of student activity is quite good, and the second cycle into 98.00 %, so an increase in activity of 38.5 % of student learning. Furthermore, it also found an increase in reading achievement Java lettered discourse of pre-cycle condition of 58.33 %, in the first cycle to 79.17 %, and the second cycle reaches 95.83 %, so there has been increasing student achievement of 37.5 %. Based on the result the researcher conclude that it has fulfilled the target of completeness 75%. The conclusions of the study is to apply the Cooperative Model Type Make A Match can increase the activity and learning achievement reading lettered discourse Java class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sapuran the second semester of the school year 2014/2015.
