Abstract
MANAGEMENT TRANSCUTANEOUS ELECTRICAL NERVE STIMULATION, ULTRASOUND AND EXERCISE PADA KASUS OSTEOARTHRITIS GENU BILLATERAL. Heanry Herlambang, Amalia Solichati Rizqi, Yudha Wahyu Putra. Study Program DIII Fisioterapi Widya Dharma University Klaten Background of Osteoarthritis is a non-inflammatory degenerative joint disorder that occurs in movable joints and weight-bearing joints and with a characterustic picture of worsening of cartilage. Problems that arise due to osteoarthritis include joint nausea, morning stiffness, limited joint motion (ROM), crepitus, joint swelling, signs of inflammation, and changes in gait. The purpose of this study was to determine Tens, Ultrasound, and Exercise Physiotherapy in cases of Osteoarthritis Genu Billateral. This research method is a case study conducted by RS PKU Muhammadyah Yogyakarta, in february-march 2020. In this case study the problem boundaries to be discussed are ppain, spasm, limitations of LGS, and decreased muscle strength. The modalities to be applied are Tens, Ultrasound, and Exercise therapy in the form of the Quadriceps setting, the Hamstring setting, and the Gluteus Medius setting. The result of the pain value before treatment was 4 and after treatment 3, the value of muscle strength before treatment was 4 and after treatment 5 and the range of motion of the left joint S= 0 – 0 – 125o and dextra S= 0 – 0 – 117o and after treatment sinistra S= 0 – 0 – 130o and dextra S= 0 – 0 – 125o. Conclusion tens, ultrasound, and exercise can reduce pain, can increase the range of motion of the joints, can increase muscle strength in cases of Osteoarthritis Genu Billateral.
