Abstract
Diah Ayu Widi Mulia Sari, NIM. 1522100921, Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics. University of Widya Dharma Klaten. Effect of Return on Assets, Net Profit Margin, Earning Per Share, and Debt to Equity Ratio on Stock Prices in Basic and Chemical Industry Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017. This study aims to examine whether there are influences between return on assets variables, net profit margins, earnings per share, and debt to equity ratio to stock prices. The population data of this study were 77 companies, and obtained a sample of 36 companies, for one year. Sampling using purposive sampling method. The hypothesis was tested using the multiple regression analysis test method with the help of SPSS version 20. The analytical methods used included descriptive statistical tests, classic assumption tests and hypothesis tests. The results of this study indicate that return on assets and earnings per share affect stock prices, while the net profit margin and debt to equity ratio do not affect stock prices. Key words: Stock Price, Return on Assets, Net Profit Margin, Earning Per Share, Debt to Equity Ratio.
