Abstract

Geography Education Studies Program, Department of Education of Social Sciences, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Widya Dharma Klaten, Thesis: "BUSINESS SKILLS BUSINESS AROUND THE TOMB Sunan Pandanaran GRAVE USING THE TRADITION PILGRIMAGE TO SUPPORT THE DYNAMICS OF ECONOMIC COMMUNITY VILLAGE DISTRICT KLATEN Paseban Bayat 2015 ". Formulation of the problem in this study were: (1) How is the ability of business utilizing pilgrimage tradition Paseban grave in the village? (2) How is the economic dynamics of the community in the village Paseban? (3) How is the ability of business utilizing the grave pilgrimage tradition to support the economic dynamics of the community in the village Paseban?. The aim of this study were: (1) Determine the ability of businesses utilizing the grave pilgrimage tradition in the village assembly hall. (2) Determine the economic dynamics of the community in the village assembly hall. (3) Determine the ability of businesses utilizing the grave pilgrimage tradition to support the economic dynamics of the community in the village assembly hall. The population of this research is all the businesses that surround the tomb of Sunan Bayat Paseban Village Pandanaran Klaten. Data analysis techniques used in this research is the method of analysis of the survey, respondents were drawn is the head of the family who do use the tradition of pilgrimage in the year 2004-2014. The number of respondents 40 heads of families selected by the technique of "purposive sampling". The analytical method used is descriptive and comparative analysis of cross tables and frequency tables. The results showed that the use of traditional pilgrimage Perubahahan effect on employment opportunities for local people to make ends meet. The presence of pilgrims visit the community can engage in economic activities such as opening a diner, open clothes stalls, souvenir stalls, selling flowers and provide parking. The ability of residents utilizing pilgrimage tradition impact on the economic level of the community before and after the change of use of the real tradition of pilgrimage increased between Rp 400,000 - Rp 500,000.
