Abstract
Rindangsari Kurniawati Putri, 1422100869, 2018, ANALYSIS FACTORS THAT AFFECTING CAPITAL STRUCTURE WITH COMPANY SIZE AS A MODERATING VARIABLE IN MANUFACTURING COMPANY LISTED IN BEI YEAR 2016 This study examines the influence of factors affecting capital structure by using firm size as a moderating variable. The first objective of this research is to find empirical evidence about the influence of assets structure, sales growth, profitability, liquidity, cost of financial distress and non debt tax shield on capital structure. Then the effect of firm size on the relations between asset structure, sales growth, profitability, liquidity, cost of financial distress and non debt tax shield on capital structure The object of this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016. The sample of this research consist of 63 companies. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis is used to test hypothesis 1 to 6, and using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with the Absolute Difference for hypothesis 7 through 12. The results of the research show that the structure of assets and liquidity have an influence on the Capital Structure while the Sales Growth, Profitability, Cost of Financial Distress and Non Debt Tax Shield have no influence to Capital Structure. Company size moderates the influence of Non Debt Tax Shield on Capital Structure. While Size Company does not moderate the influence of Asset Structure, Sales Growth, Profitability, Liquidity, Cost of Financial Distress to Capital Structure.
